Internet Usage
Problem:
- Not that many people in Africa use internet.
- Many organizations are afraid that other countries will continue to advance and countries like Africa won't .
New Technologies:
- Internet access in schools.
- Cellphones are to be used for many everyday jobs.
1. Pros:
- Many everyday jobs like taxi men will have access to cellphones.
- This will also help others who have cellphones to know when their taxi will arrive.
2. Cons;
- Not everyone can benefit from this.
- Also it is expensive to have or provide for every school in Africa with computers
Organizations:
- International Finance Corporation (IFC)
- This organization is reducing the prices of any internet access by 10%.
Effectiveness:
- With people having access to internet it has improved the taxi cab buisness.
- People don't have to wait hours for their cab to come becasue now they know what time it will arrive.
