Problem:

  • ​Not that many people in Africa use internet.​​
  • Many organizations are afraid that other countries will continue to advance and countries like Africa won't .

​New Technologies:

  • ​Internet access in schools.
  • Cellphones are to be used for many everyday jobs.

​1. Pros:

  • ​​Many everyday jobs like taxi men will have access to cellphones.
  • This will also help others who have cellphones to know when their taxi will arrive.

​2. Cons;

  • ​Not everyone can benefit from this.
  • Also it is expensive to have or provide for every school in Africa with computers

Organizations:​

  • International Finance Corporation (IFC)
  • This organization is reducing the prices of any internet access by 10%.​

Effectiveness:

  • ​ With people having access to internet it has improved the taxi cab buisness.
  • People don't have to wait hours for their cab to come becasue now they know what time it will arrive.
